Got up early again today (when does the vacation start) and dropped off our favorite refugee at the Flint Airport for her 10:00 AM Flight back to FL. We had a great time with Gaile in Frankenmuth; she was a great addition to our trip and we will see her again in a couple days in San Fran.

The outbounds, the group I'm currently in, is a large group of excited kids who just are ready to leave the country. I didn't meet one outbound out of their minds excited for this upcoming year! ... or individual bands of 6th, 7th and, 8th graders. I did not keep count but there must have been at least ten non-high school bands and they were all from Christian schools. There were so many children marching in bands it made me wonder if band membership was mandatory. It was also a great tribute to the schools that have a vibrant music program.
