The annual fall road trip has begun! Addie and I left Brooklyn yesterday afternoon, heading north into Connecticut to begin our adventures. After a shockingly painless passage out of the City, we soon found ourselves on scenic highway 7, which runs up the western edge of New England all the way to Canada.

Fun day! LaureAnn and I drove over to Salem, Massachusetts for all things witchy! What a beautiful day. the drive was wonderful - lots of great conversation, story swapping, beautiful scenery, and then Salem itself.
We walked around, visited a couple of the sites, one being the only structure left from the witch trial period. That is the home of Judge Corwin.

... to Vermont looking for FALL COLOR! And found it too. Actually most of the color was in Massachusetts. Vermont was awe fully dry. All of the stream beds were extremely low. But all along the way we say wonderful vistas and quaint New England towns. Covered bridges, The Berkshires, The Green Mountains, The Yankee Candle Factory Shops!
