Howdy all. I'm sure ya'll will be glad to hear that my daily blog is coming to an end soon.....but not before I brag about what a perfect day we had today. None of us were happy to have our fun week at the Valle Cruces Overlook end, but we manned up and hopped in our cars at 6:30 am to head home (by way of detour). Eric and Tanna drove down to Georgia to visit his Uncle John. Kevin and I ...

      ... early today; 4.00 ish.

Took a drive to find dinner and ended up at Pine Grill which was within walking distance. Nice meal of chicken and veggies for Wes and chicken and pasta for me. Back to the hotel to do some exercise in the fitness room. Not much there but the treadmill worked fine for me. Knees too sore for the stepper. Bit of sightseeing around Somerset tomorrow morning then maybe Pittsburgh (think I said that last night?)

...was a joy! Got in at midnight and were met at the station by my dear friend and former employee Colin Van Bortel Buckley. Pittsburgh was not really what I expected. A dirty feeling city but had a fantastic river frontage area with plenty of activities to get the locals out on a nice day.

Wow love Ohio. Don't know why you moved to New Zealand Curtis when you had this.
Reminds me so much of New Zealand with beautiful farms and rolling countryside yet in the Hocking Hills region it was like the bush area around Rotorua. Their corn and ...

We spent our first night at the Holiday Inn Express in Belle Vernon, across from Hoss's.

We started the next day with an early morning breakfast at Eat'nPark with our PA friends. After breakfast, we went to see my Dad and grand parents' graves, and then we hit the road.

For the first part of our trip, we took the back roads through Mt Pleasant, Donegal, and more. At Breezewood we got on to the turnpike for the rest of the ride.
