After an amazing flight, got into Miami at about 5pm.
Hit with the ever familiar heat and humidity as I got off the plane. It almost made it feel like home.

... in the continental United States. While clearly over-the-top, the Biltmore manages to be pretty at the same time. The grounds are gorgeous and the stand of pink boxers (?) wearing golf shoes out front and red alligators on the lawn, all with bottles of water strapped to their backs, a golfer's homage to the mountaineer's St. Bernard, indicate that perhaps the hotel doesn't take itself all that seriously.
For our last day in Florida, yesterday, we decided to hang out at the condo. We packed and lounged. Nothing very exciting happened.

Today we didn't even bother getting up for breakfast, instead just got up at midday again. We went to the shop and it lunch and hit the beach it seemed much hotter today. After spending nearly six hours there we went back to the hostel for tea. Tonight we decided to give te wine a miss and go for the vodka that we ha bought with us from Peru. We went to the shop and bought some juice, got ready and started drinking in the lobby area with everyone. For me vodka does not go down ...
