This will be the last entry from Demopolis for awhile. We take a bus from here to Burmingham to pick up a rental car, get an international drivers license, take our laptops to get repaired, and a little shopping.

... trip to Ft. Lauderdale fell through and if we wanted to spend as much time in Europe as we wanted we couldn't wait any longer. I have sent 4 emails to them and the last one said that if we weren't leaving Mobile by the 28th we couldn't go. They have never answered any of my emails.
We are renting a car from Burmingham on the 5th and doing some errands there, then back here for the night. ...
We found a shallow place along the river and dropped the anchor so I could change the racor fuel filter. It only took 10 minutes and we were on our way again. About half an hour later the same thing happened. Squeezing the priming ball got it running again. The only thing I could think of was the secondary fuel filter on the engine and i didn't have one.

... The famous walk lead by Martin Luther King, Jr. started here on the bridge. The town was a throwback to 1962 only deserted. We didn't feel safe until we passed Concordia College. Then it changed dramatically. Needless to say we did not visit the Voting Rights Museum in the scary part of town.
We finally stopped at Foscue State Park in Demopolis, AL. Really nice spot on the water with tall ...

What a beautiful sunset! It looks like the guys are happy to have the past couple of days behind them. They let their hair down a little....:) Sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite!
