As exciting as it is to start a vacation, it is usually just as exciting to come home. That is especially true when you've been gone for a month! We got an early start to avoid the worst of the Atlanta rush hour traffic. Unfortunately, no bagel toppers for breakfast. Mix in a screaming child, and finally being east of the Mississippi River, and we opted for a Chick-Fil-A breakfast. Oh, how we've missed Chick-Fil-A! In fact, we've missed it so much that we stopped there ...
... team on the account management side of the company. Account management, to use Kathy's words, is BCD's "front line" with the customer. The people working in the department are responsible for direct, day-to-day contact with the likes of Siemens, the Home Depot, Emory and every other client. Also present from Kathy's team were:

... of wood and materials to put it back together. It now has roughly 3 times the number of support boards under it, and they are now 2"x4" instead of 2"x2". Tim went to work about 1:30, and helped me finish sealing up after he got off of work. We quit just shy of midnight. 15 hour days seem to be the norm on projects these days. The finished product is so much stronger we can now pick up the whole back of the trailer by just the corner. Sorry there ...
... and we all ate together.
Sunday 6/30 - Mike, Hillary, and I went to Lake Lanier to let Jameson wear his swimsuit and stick his toes in the water. He didn't mind! The lake was nice, although the beach was dirty. We stayed a short time and headed back. Barb prepared a nice dinner for all of us (sans Donna) - Chili Colorado, with margaritas to start. I spent the night there.
Monday 7/1 - After a delicious ...
Someone once said, "A journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step", so I guess this one starts with a step and a hop to make it over 2,000 miles. The journey should be full of excitement and plenty of new experiences for all of the group. They left at 1:15 pm headed out with a tank full of gas, and a van full of love. Here's to hoping for more fun than trials, smooth roads, and less traffic.... they are off to Yelm.
