... that is. Un huh. I found out there was an island nearby, other than the one on the resort. The second day I was here off I went to Anna Maria Island. It is a wonderful place with sugar sand beaches, great seaside cafes and bars and is just laid back as can be. ... bridge. This bridge actually replaced another bridge that was hit by a freighter and had to be demolished. The approaches to the original bridge are still in place and have become recreaction sites. We arrived at Bill and Paulette's in the early afternoon and had supper with them. They are wonderful hosts.

Friday was a day to catch up on some book work and then laze beside the campground pool. In the evening we actually ...

          ... 1928.
The canal alongside means more wildlife will be nearby. Besides the birds and dead gator, a turtle was moseying along the edge too. The rivers of grass are easy to see too. Lots of panther crossing signs are posted, but I was too late in the morning. When I entered I-75 the signage changed to advertise No Scalpel, No Needle, Vasectomy. Seems it's quite a business in FL.
Anyway, the heat ran 85-93F and I ...
