    ... the 6am train (only one a day unsurprisingly!) and arrived at the station to find a huge line of locals queueing for the second class tickets. We had decided to take the whole journey in one hit as we needed to make progress across Mexico for our flight to New York, with this in mind we pre-booked first class tickets the day before to reduce hassle and for a more comfortable journey.

    Once the journey started at 6am you could not help but stay ...

    ... most of the really good parties and social events in Jeddah, and gave the rest of us infadels something fun to do on the weekends. These days she's teaching in Mexico City, so it was a short flight for her. But she was getting in at 8pm, so I had a few hours to kill.
    One thing I wanted to do was check out Pancho Villa's house-slash-museum. It was hidden in an odd part of town, but surprisingly, my GPS ...

    ... music and company or getting a coffee in a nearby cafe. Caro was kind enough to give me a lift to the bus station that night for my overnight bus to Mazatlan.

    When I'd originally planned my trip to the Copper Canyon I'd barely entertained the thought of going as far as Chihuahua but after Caro's reply to my couch request I'd known it would be worth the trip and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Now on to the beach!

    ... How many agave hearts are needed to make tequila? 5. Then they are re-used to make lower grades. The 4th grade down is the "Gold" tequila grade, a lower grade. Agave is not a cactus, but a lily. There is no worm in tequila, that is Mezcal which is not tequila. Hollywood came up with the salt on the hand, Mexicans don't waste the salt. Only put a lime in a beer if it's in a metal can to cut the metallic taste. We're entering the Chihuahua ...
