Johnnie and I arrived at the airport and said our goodbyes to family. We made it through check in and security in record time and have lots of time to spare. The terminal is quiet so it wouldn't take much for me to take a nap. I fear that people watching will keep me from sleep though. ... rediscover the beauty of seasonal changes on the east coast. Accordingly, the family has engaged in the "endless fall" of 2014... for a solid 6 weeks, the girls have gleefully leaped into leaf piles and we've all been awestruck by the brilliance stretching from northern NY to central NC. ... trumpet swans and cliffs and lakes and mountains- amazing. we did take a lot of pictures but I am afraid they are not very good-after all the train was moving and it was very overcast. the clouds were gorgeous and because it was overcast there was less glare and the views were spectacular but even the people who seemed to be experienced photographers were having trouble getting decent shots.
