Branson has to be one of the hardest to get to cities in America. But,
this mini-Vegas in the hills (without the gambling) is worth the trip
to see the Dolly Parton Dixie Stampede. This is the second time I have
seen this show and it is great.
Our family stayed here for Christmas this year. The resort is just re-opening, and everything in the 9 cabins has been updated, refreshed and renewed! Each cabin had a unique theme. Can't wait to come back when the weather is better and do some hiking, fishing in the lakes and enjoy the valley more. It even snowed while we were there - perfect!
We are at Susie's and will be staying here until next week and we have decided to go to Death Valley next week. We have never been there and the weather is pretty decent this time of year. We are learning to relax as we keep telling ourselves that we are in no hurry. Dad and I did go down to the ocean yesterday, it never seems to lose its beauty no matter how many times I've seen it.
