    ... has had a blast chasing his ball on the AstroTurf by the playground.

    An easy five minute walk down a path at the edge of the park takes you to the North Platte River where you can fish your heart's content.

    We have one more day here, then off to Cody, out gateway to Yellowstone!

    ... there were different routes available to descend. We chose the one less traveled (not paved). Seven miles down the mountain, through a myriad of scenery and terrain, we finally reached the foothills and then back to Casper.



    Another reason to be thankful to the Creator.

    We woke up bright and early (5:30am, not on purpose) to tackle two wonderful National Monuments. The first was Mount Rushmore (South Dakota) We did a little hiking around the Presidents Trail and saw the Presidents from various angles. Then we hit the road to Devils Tower (Wyoming).     ... etc. And you know what, the kids all do the same silly things. For example - when driving through those single-car width tunnels you will observe little arms extending from the back seat windows to see if they'll be able to touch the walls of the tunnel.

    *The kids are the first in the family to hit the swim pool. Some things never change.
