... a good sized bird flying nearby and tried to figure out what it was. Kinda looked like a pelican, but was too small and had no pouch. There were quite a few of these birds pacing the ship along with the seagulls. There were so many cargo ships (I counted 19 within sight at one time) and even the Colonel, a paddlewheel that passed VERY close to us.

Annette sat down in a lounge chair and when she glanced to the side saw a very funny little bird ...

... Houston is very bad on Saturday. I’d hate to see it during the week. Well, the Galleria Mall parking is all in parking decks with a maximum height of 8’6". We’re too big so we just got back on I-610 and came home. I guess people only drive their cars to the Galleria. Jim did a great job driving, but I was having a nervous breakdown. ... rammed the food down our faces there was a queue! Typical. Got to the bag check - no OPEN hot food or drinks allowed so we could have taken it in anyways!! So now we are food-less by 11am! Great. We got in there it was very SPACEY but a lot of it was for kids, a little like techniquest which was a little disappointing. We found a queue of people so joined in, realised afterwards it was for the tram tour around NASA. The first was full so waiting in line for the next one, not to ...

    NASA

After 3 months of rockets in the back seat of the truck, today we went to NASA. Lachlan had what I think could be classed as the best day of his life. He saw a massive Saturn V rocket that was impossible for his brain to understand. He was awestruck as he sat in a space shuttle and saw mission control. He even loved the playground! The photos say it all. So we just ...
