      Four hours of what might be called sleep last night created a rocky start this morning. We opted for a cab ride to the airport in order to avoid any other Roman public transportation. Besides, Leonardo DaVinci airport was three busses away from our apartment, not a challenge we were up for at 5 AM.       Yes, lots of fellow witches in the cafe this morning. Also a lot of material on the walls about Dorothy, lions, tin men and Oz. My pancakes were good, not sure about the turkey bacon slices though. I am yet to find a good cup of tea in America, most of it is too weak, probably because they go for quantity, rather than quality, I'd rather have a small cup of decent strong tea than a huge mug of weak dishwater.

      New York City was so close, yet so far! Being only miles from the city was so tantalizing, but fortunately we only had a short layover, so there was not a lot of time to think about it.
