The trip really began with a flight back from Shreveport, LA,
where we were honored to celebrated James’ cousin Leah’s wedding. We arrived in
NY at 1 A.M. (of day 1) and tried to get some sleep before heading out to
Connecticut in the morning to pack up the car. Speaking of the car, Lindsey’s
parents were kind enough to lend us their 2011 Subaru Outback for the trek.

... the interchange at East Haven cause we may have taken the wrong exit (twice) and had to 'make a legal u-turn where possible and return to the designated route'. Geoff doing well with the right-hand side of the road driving but pretty tired cause it takes a lot of concentration. The B&B was nice and had a lovely view from our window across a small beach and bay. Owners were very friendly and helped us decide what to do in the next 4 days. Dinner, beach walk, bed.
