... warming up the legs. We proceeded on to the mountain climb, where I decided to ride solo. It was a great day - it turns out so far I am for most part not affected by altitude as we climb but many people are - thanks for the multiple ski trips out west mom and dad! We faced the toughest headwind of the trip, and of my life, and it aggravated more people than I thought possible. Let's back track - the scenery was unbelievable ...

... down experience. I used Larry's old clubs and he furnished the balls and equipment. I only lost one ball but the gentleman we were paired with found it plus 6 more. His wife also played and did really well. Small world as this couple also lives in Heritage Eagle Bend. I had a 108 but tied Larry on the back nine.

We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river. Then we got ready to drive to Beaver Meadows Ranch. It was about an hours drive and we saw a lot of mountains along the way. We we got outside and it was FREEZING! ... dinner time. Dinner was an adventure as we headed out to Casa Bonita. There was so much rain and even warnings of flash flooding but there was no stopping a group of tourist. We figured that the place would be empty but to our surprise even under such extreme weather the place was packed!
