Well, it's the week of the big trip over the pond and I'm excited to the point that I hope I will be able to sleep these next few nights. I stopped under an overpass on the trace to pull on the rain wear and insulation, to dry, and to cook 4 eggs and cornmeal for lunch. I feel like a desperate soul at that point, but to be honest, I was truly loving the cooling rain and the thorough soaking I received for it helped clean me off, and I prayed a bit that such fortuitous things would continue happening on this journey.

We rode 70 miles today- I am more tired today than any other. I think it is because the routine is starting to get to me a bit. I have to say, the people I am riding with are very special people. Well, we made it back tonight with little fanfare. The trip was a fantastic experience - one we will never forget. That's all I really have to say - just wanted to close out the trip on this blog and return us back across the pond on the map.
