    McCall, Idaho is definitely a most beautiful town. It sits right on a southern beach of Payette Lake. If one were to walk out the back door of the lakefront stores one's feet would get wet.

    The town is about 2800 souls strong but grows to well over 10,000 during the high seasons of summer and winter. The metropolis of Boise is just two hours down the hill and a lot of its residents like to take advantage of the amenities here. This makes for happy ...

    ... of Weiser, pronounced WEEZER. This farming community is famous for the National Fiddlers Contest and Festival. From Weiser north are rolling hills studded with farms and ranches. We love to travel this very scenic portion of Highway 95.

This is a huge area of some 50 square miles of volcanic material or lava. It is like a dump truck has dumped piles and piles of rubble over this huge area.
