Our first stop today was making our way to Union Station, the pickup point for our tour of LA with Classic Hollywood Tours. I had been speaking to our guide via calls to arrange for a few days, and he picked us up at 10am from the station. Coolly enough our guide was called Doug! Then it was back to the airport and away to the southern hemisphere.
Overall, I found LA a great place to spend a day. The architecture was surprising and varied. There were a million interesting things to see. And, although the car clearly does rule the roost and there was boredom and concrete in between the interesting stuff, I won't be at all upset the next time I have to fill in a day there.

Went back down to Hollywood to Madame Tussauds and spent an hour or so there. My face and neck are sooo sunburnt from yesterday they are starting to hurt just little bit.
Back to apartment to do blog and hopefully get some decent sleep.
