Claire and I then took a bus to Las Vegas where we met Emily and Joey, two amazing Canadians who both went on exchange to Utrecht and who became my best friends on the other side of the world.     ... San Pedro around 3.15 … we arrived at 3.20pm after stopping at Peggy Sue’s then a quick stop for petrol (gas).

    We drove across the road and entered the pier area and drove for what seemed like quite a while before we found ourselves in front of Pier 23 where the Star Princess was docked. The Crown Princess was docked at Pier 92.

    ... in the 1920s. It was more of Mediterranean villa than a castle, but the owner was so proud of his creation that he called it a castle to convey to luxurious feel. Walking round the grounds and the house itself, it was really impressive but we couldn't fully enjoy it because of the awful weather. We couldn't see the amazing views for fog and we couldn't walk around the grounds to much for rain...not exactly tshirts and flip flops weather. Back on the road, we carried on ...

    So I made it in one piece, the flight was surprisingly quick and had some nice old New Zealand women next to me telling me all about NZ. Also managed to sneak a exit seat so could practically lie down! AMEN! Also maybe more incredible I eat curry..
