We said our farewells to Florida's Atlantic coast today and headed to the Eastern Gulf side of the state. The drive from Ft Lauderdale to Bonita Springs only takes around 2 hours, but we were going to add in an hour detour into the Everglades. The reason for our detour was of course to check out the awesome natural beauty of the Everglades national …

The staff were brilliant and gave us an introduction sat on a deck overlooking the four Dolphins who were playing in the water a few yards away. They were scooping up water in their mouths and tossing it in the air then catching it. We were all given wet suit jackets then walked down to the platforms to meet the Dolphins. ...

The last three days of our cruise were amazing. Firstly because of the amazing weather. Temperature in the low 80's now, mere 2ft waves, and blue skies. We continued our dining experiences with the Brower's. An evening in Mirano, the French bistro, and great food in the Classic French style. Scallops Wellington as an appetizer, done absolutely to perfection. Lobster for Mary Ann, out of the shell and sautéed at the table ...
