    ... and we had a splendid time teaching him to play bowls, and even went over to the park. It was so nice to be able to play outside with him and just get worn out being chased around. By the end of the day I think we may have successfully worn him out too!

    However, the day was far from over! At five it was time to go to the BOK Center in Tulsa and see us some Monster Trucks! Hayley ...

    ... it instead of a goal. Players try to hit the fish, and get three points for each hit. Hitting the pole one foot below the fish scores a single point. Women are now allowed to play, but instead of sticks they play with their hands. The men may only use sticks, and may not hit the women. The women are under no such rules, and can tackle, hit, push, or do anything necessary to get the ball. In most games of stickball, the women almost always win.

    I hear puppies!

    I woke up to the unmistakable sound of dogs running around, so knew that Fred and Daphne were here! That of course meant that Mik and Aunty Di both have snow days again. Fair enough since there was still a lot of snow on the ground at seven this morning, but it had all melted by lunchtime. Not complaining though since it meant we had a fun day of playing with Mik and the puppies!

    ... given it was so late. We raced to the Indian section and through the Western Entertainers gallery and the Rodeo section. It was short but it was good. It was then time for a drive-by of some Route66 landmarks and signs. We were not interested in staying in this big city, so continued on to the smaller town of El Reno. We stopped here at 6:30pm after what felt for me like a long day due to my continuing sore throat and coughing and now a sore back. Argh. Oh - only 5 armadillos ...
