      ... new one up on Friday near Fresno.

      With the heat being what it is, we also took the time to change our next settling spot - from previously-planned Thousand Trails Yosemite Lakes in Groveland, which has only 30 amp power, to the Escapees Coop Park Sierra in Coarsegold. It's further away from Yosemite NP, but it has 50 amp power and full hookups, so we'll be more comfortable there.

      ... and my legs were flapping, but I was not touching the surface of the bridge. I knew that I was being moved along by the momentum of this mass to which I was inextricably glued, and I had no choice but to let go. I totally trusted that the people of Calcutta were holding me safely, and that even if the bridge snapped and we all fell into the water, our bodies would instantly form a raft and we would continue drifting toward the shoreline, apace.

      ... done. No cable TV here, but at least internet, ****** as it is. Got lots of movies and good old Corner Gas series to watch.

      We have had a terrific wind and rain storm here the last couple of days. Wind gusts up to 80 mph really shook us up. A 6.0 earthquake could have hit and we would not have know it. We had the slide in all day yesterday and last night as the storm went through. Had to put weights on the dog to take her out last night so she did not blow away!!
