... there was major construction. Fortunately, the “one way” was our way, so we continued on and found the place. We then needed a parking spot and in front of us was a parking garage, but since they were also having a food and entertainment event a block away, the parking garage was charging $10 to park regardless of how long you parked. Oh well. We paid the piper and headed across the street to the pub.
Our cruising companions have decided to forego the Lake Seneca side trip and head up to Oswego to continue their loop across Lake Ontario to Canada and the Trent Severn Waterway. We left our dock at Lock 23 and locked through together one last time. We parted ways at Canal Junction, Gray Fox going north and Meander going south and west. We'll miss their company along the way.

Today we went DOWN two locks. Down locks are easier that up locks so this was a nice change for us. But most of the rest of the locks will be up as we need to rise to the level of the top of Niagara Falls.
