    ... to stand in and at the other end the warm water flowed out through a narrow channel that you could follow for about 50 meters under fallen logs and with ferns and other plants leaning over the water.

    Wild animal sightings started getting more common at this point in the journey. We saw dozens of bison, 2 moose, 3 bears , 2 foxes and countless rabbits + marmots .

    ... a lifesaver. And Clair had peppermint oil, which sounds weird, but if you roll it on the back of your neck it not only smells fantastically invigorating, it leaves a cooling sensation that helps to make you feel cooler.
