... of the dreams they had and never fulfilled. Why would you want to live a good regrettable life rather than an extraordinary life full of things that most people can only dream of doing? We forget that the power to make dreams come true is in our hands if only we are willing to take the leap and go beyond our bounds.
So here I am planing to take that frightening and exhilarating leap. All I can do is cross my fingers and hope for the best!

I had made many a trips to Big Bear during the snowboarding season being that it is really the only place you can do a day trip from Vegas. However a few times we got the luxury of having a place to crash for the night. Only Teresa and I would somehow manage to be able to make a crash pad out of Oscar de la Hoyas Big Bear cabin and training compound. The two of us and usually 15 or so of the worlds best fighters under one roof..... we consider ourselves very lucky ladies :)

San Bernardino, California, United States pavigneault... so we are ready to make our loans. We thought it would be good for the kids to pick out people to loan to as their own projects. Anyway, school is off to a good start for E & J. Eva is making a good transition. She has a lot to do, with school, piano lessons and practice, soccer practice and games 3X/ week, and religious school 3x/week. So far, no meltdowns. Well, small ones. I've encouraged her to ride the bus with friends, and she ...
Claremont, California, United States sisterhood... area - slumses etc. At the station there sat next to me a guy in the age of 60`s. He started talking straight away. He told me about half of his memoir and about his journey to Texas - he was going to travel for the next 30 hours. Americans are vey open to people. You won`t probaly find such talkative and at the same time eccentric people anywhere else in the world. I was really happy to hear that the man knew where was Poland. When I was about to leave, he gave me his ...
San Bernardino, California, United States bogna... we went out in Redondo Beach, which was definitely an interesting experience. People there seemed a little detached to their surroundings. The Sunday was excellent as it was 'Superbowl Sunday'! Angela's family had a huge party to watch the game and it was the most authentic introduction to American culture I think I could have experienced. It was great; everyone cheering, eating a lot of junk food, and generally enjoying themselves. It was only ...
Los Angeles, United States sarahvani... off. It worked out better for us as we went on a tour organised by a local bar, although it was a bit more expensive at $30 each, because we got to spend the day with new people. We had decided that the only way we would do the trip would be if it was going to be sunny that day - it consisted of walking through flooded caves, swimming in rock pools and through waterfalls - we didn't want to spend the day wet and cold for obvious reasons! The patches of blue sky in the morning convinced us ...
