So, for those of you who don't know, both my Mom and my Dad hail from the same area of northwest Pennsylvania, near Meadville, PA. My last trip to Meadville was around 1980, when as a surly 12 year old I wasn't interested in anything at all about my family or their history. Thanks to the magic of Facebook (and living in Las Vegas, where everyone shows up eventually), I have reconnected with my cousin Kimmie and her husband Donnie. When we ...

They must be a God fearing people to have that many in just one block! We also caught the tail end of an air show where the Blue Angels were performing. We drove by both the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians stadium.

We made it as far as Conneaut, OH and found a place ...

... and unsuccessfully attempted to dodge goose droppings as we walked.

When we got back to the lot, we ran into Gene and Kyle who were about to walk over to a diner. We made a stop at the Conneaut Arts Center where they had a portrait exhibit on display. They had a contest for best portrait so after looking at all of them, we filled out our ballots. After we left the center, we were admiring a house across the street when a woman walked up to the ...
