Love the HIE. It is consistently clean and comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to welcome you. The beds are firm, the bathrooms large and the room itself, a very comfortable size. Breakfast is plentiful with fruit, omlettes, biscuits and fabulous cinnamon rolls. Great coffee. All in all, a lovely experiance

Stopped at my uncle's place in Chico. We decided it was time to change Sally's oil after about 4000 miles of driving probably a good idea. My uncle owns a bike shop so he had all the wrenches and such that we needed. We had a little complication, but everything worked out. Now Sally is all fixed up. We went to some open studios, met some cool people and ate some great food. We also helped them build a sweet outdoor oven out of cob (a mixture of soil, sand and ...
My stay in California was the most memorable summer yet! After hiking for three hours on the flumes (in flip flops and bikinis) my two friends and i found a nice little spot but the river and decided to stop there and take a break. Swimming and laying on this large rock in the middle of the river. We soon realized that we were all out of water and that it would take us another three hours or so to hike back to the house. After hiking up the mountain for a short period of time ...
