On our way to Galveston we got caught in traffic so we opted for an adventure in the form of a detour. What a surprising view. The Gulf roughly lapping the shores; beautiful homes on stilts, pastel colors of beach community homes were easy on the eye. I wish more of them were caught in pictures. ... vehicle, saw the enormous pool where the astronauts train for space walks and best of all sat in the Flight Director's chair from the Apollo missions. The size of the rockets they send in to space have to be seen to be believed. One space suit alone is worth $20 million. Wow!
