... what to expect in Galveston, and were pleasantly surprised with the town proper, with its lovely old Victorian houses and it's historic 1920s era downtown. ... stuck to her rum and I was into tequila, which I can normally handle. We did have a great night, the sea rolling and roaring, and the fire affording some heat, and down hill went the 3 hippies from Missouri. Down hill to the point that Peter suggested that they needed to go down, so we went home. Down they went, all the next day they only got up for spurts, and all the next night, and the day after they were scheduled to leave, and leave the did, but with little enthusiasm. Oh my Oh my!
