Lyssa here, not sure if Justin will ever write anything, but one can hope :P

This is just a blog entry to say that this blog probably won't be active until around March. I mean we do a little bit of traveling around Houston... If you can call Galveston or The Texas Renaissance Festival traveling... But this blog is meant to document our road trips.

... a tour around the joint, we didn't have a lot of time, but we got to see the flight deck of a shuttle and the payload bay. There was a display of different flight suits, space suits and other garments worn into space. A quick trip into the gift shop saw Andrew buying a fridge magnet and an Apollo XIII mission patch. Meeting Dave and Linda at Galveston. The 1st time to the island for them. We enjoyed suggesting some of our favorite highlights.

... fifteen feet, reaching the top floor of double storey homes. The winds (up to 120mph) uprooted large trees, caused large buildings to rock and houses to cave in and be swept away.
