      Day 25. Vancouver

A travel blog entry by geoffq on Sep 05, 2014

Pamela and I arrived at Vancouver Airport about 2015, we had to go through Customs again as we just left U.S.A. And now arrived in Canada, after a clearance we had a look around then a bite to eat, which was a pretty big meal, and after speaking to many Aussies we started on the long trip to gate 49. Settling in nicely and Pamela charging her iPad and about 1 hour before boarding time 2300, ...

Not quite like Banff where everything was left unlocked! Our host is very welcoming. It's not every unit that has a beer keg on tap in the kitchen! "Just help yourself."

Landed at Vancouver International Airport early. Bags collected and cleared immigration in record time. The Immigration Officer was so welcoming and jovial. Very unusual, especially at 5.20am. This friendly welcome and help was constant from everyone we came in contact with at the airport. Our Pakistani cab driver gave me some tips for driving in Canada. Yes, back to driving from the ...
