... against 5 Kings players. With their advantage, the Kings scored 2 goals in 40 seconds, which meant that Canucks lost 2-3. I was stunned that the supporters seemed so accepting of the loss, despite the LA Kings only being able to score 1 goal in the first 59 minutes, and 2 goals with a minute to go. Victory was only seconds away for the Canucks, yet they lost. It was an extraordinary result, and one which definitely kept me on the edge of my seat the whole game.

The gondola going down was an experience!! Bit terrifying to be honest, but with a very 'stiff British upper lip' we didn't let ourselves down. Bus back to town.

We then decided to try the Skytrain. What a wonderful way to get around! Went over to the other side of the city to to Science World. A few snaps and home. At sunset we went to English Bay to get the sunset, it was super!!

... was to climb a mountain. That's right, people, climb a mountain. My brain must have stepped out. It was there to taunt me when we were climbing this dratted mountain though. I went through several stages. First, I thought I might collapse and expire. I didn't, obviously. Next I wanted to turn around and go back but sheer bloody mindedness (and the fear of sliding down a mountain on my backside - a highly embarrassing prospect) prevented me. Finally ...

... downstairs for a meet and greet light supper at 6pm, we had an hour to spare so the 4 of us went walk about to the harbourside  which was just around the corner, the smell of sea air was lovely and as it was a Sunday afternoon lots of families were enjoying the sunshine. Brian had his eye firmly on the excellent cycling track, the sea planes were landing constantly ... What a lovely spot.  The meet and greet was run by our new host ( Jess ) who is taking us ...
