... newer, prettier Roadtrek who asked me about the Dempster Highway in the Yukon. Met some folks from Michigan, heard several groups speaking german and others speaking french. The Fall Foliage season is obviously very popular. But now we’re both very tired. Don’t often walk that much or get that much fresh air when we’re on the road.

... s wifi and I know I’ll be spending time on my gadgets. It was interesting to note that every tap had a ‘Boil Water Advisory’ sign. Apparently if water in Ontario isn’t chlorinated, it’s not safe to drink but the water at this campsite has been supplied by an underground spring that has never dried up. It was first tapped in the 1930s for a lodge that was built there at the time. Obviously some ‘politics’ being played out.

... was busier here than we expected with people from all over the world coming to see the fall colors. We took a short steep hike to a look out and then a super muddy 5.5 km hike that crossed an old logging railway and wound it's way through dark forests and golden woodlands. ... I had a shot on the quad bike. The next day we went to explore Bracebridge the nearest town to here. We walked around the little shops there and got some milkshakes.
