The trip across Idaho was uneventful, but a few miles after we crossed into Utah, the winds picked up and got heavier as we drove to Brigham City. Once we got on I-15, we were driving straight into 20 plus mph winds with 30-40 gusts. The winds are suppose to clam down tonight, but climb back up tomorrow so we will hunker down here for a couple of nights.

... We then checked out & wandered into town to look around while we waited for the tyre to arrive. Chris took Frankle to garage at 1 as we expected the tyre to arrive, I sat & chilled in sun until he collected me. 1.30 came & went still no tyre but at 1.50 the FedEx van pulled up with the tyre. Just 20 mins later we were on our way again. Our route was on the scenic highway 89 towards Montpelier & Paris!! Great views, although smokey & twisty roads. Chris ...

... the towns of Perry and Brigham City have a charm and wonderful depth of feel in their own rights. Oh yeah, it’s 100% free; all it cost is what your digital camera and lenses are worth, gasoline and your time. Open 24 hours, unless it’s flooded. I cannot oversell this place enough!

We drove into Brigham City and there were a lot of fireworks around us. Apparently it was a local holiday, Pioneer Day. The next day, ZACH'S BIRTHDAY, we strolled around Temple Square in Salt Lake City and listened to a tabernacle organ concert. Then we headed to Canyonlands. Zach's birthday dinner was a can of baked beans at our campsite. ...

Was a BIG drive day today. We started off by visiting the Oregon Interperative Centre which was on the path of the Oregeon trail. It was one of those places i really wanted to visit and the others were just going along with. Turns out it was really good and everyone was impressed. Taylah and Ryan found the stories about the hardships of the people on the trail, quite upsetting. Lydia on the other hand was really intrigued. She had to go back and ...
