    The mountain section of Utah that we just came through on route 89 reminded me a lot of Colorado; very picturesque, very beautiful.

    Logan Utah is a picturesque town. As you leave the mountain you pass the campus of Utah State University which looks down over the town of Logan.

    ... reminded me a bit ofthe Outer Banks, NC, without the ocean.

    It's also clear, based on the types of properties and houses in this area that folks that have money to spend live here. The hillside houses that overlooked the lake and waterfront housing and stores were rustically gorgeous in their redwood log designs.

    ... was the classic west town of Laramie. Besides being home to the University of Wyoming Cowboys, it is also home to the Wyoming Territorial Prison and once held Butch Cassidy (Robert Leroy Parker). I barely escaped the prison wagon. The last stop in Wyoming was the Bear River State park which is home to bison and elk. It was a cold and rainy day so the bison were not very active. ...

    ... canyon. From there on it was more driving until we reached Honeyville at the top of Utah. We were tired and arrived in the dark only to discover once we are settled that there was another bloody railway track next to the RV park. I think that's three nights a row now.
