... bought my ticket then went down for bus but still had 20 minutes to wait and hot so decided to take super slow and long escalator up and had to walk back through to car rental side to go to toilet and get changed into bikini and shorts. Today was our first day at sea.
Our stateroom was in Concierge class, with a balcony. The room attendant, Joy, was a Filipino woman, who was pleasant and efficient. She had two children back in the Philippines and like so many crew members found she could make much better money on an American ship than she could ever hope to make at home.
