... are laying right there.

We also saw three different types of snakes, great white herons, wood stork, Florida Gar, black vultures, zebra butterflies and the good old ibis. Further down the road we stopped at Joanie’s Blue Crab café where we enjoyed the quirky decoration and Wade as well as all the other men I am sure enjoyed the girly pictures in the bathrooms. ... I booked and bought a sandwich too while I was there. I saw there was a short walk near where I was, so I drove to the camp grounds just a little further down the road. ... Waiting!! Was it expecting to be fed? I looked around the boat. I didn’t see the carcass of a gazelle or a sack of wriggling rodents. I had half a packet of Hob Nobs in by backpack but no time to entice Mr Gator with the delights of McVities. We were off. We saw several more gators during our excursion….or…they could have been crocodiles as the Everglades is the only place in the US that both alligator and crocodile cohabitate. Apart from the most common ...

Plastic watching

Today we woke up at 11.30, slightly earlier than normal. The weather was rubbish, not even hazy so we decided today was going to be a shopping day. First stop was a shoe shop to buy some shoes that my sister wanted. For lunch we went to a proper American dinner with the red and white seats in a metal looking caravan! When the 'cheque' came we soon learned that the 18% tip ...
