... meals to heat up in our hotel room. They're probably as healthy as anything we would get from the fast food joints that surrounded the motel, Taco Bell, Burger King, Denny's etc. The microwave meals are also a bit cheaper too, and we need to save a few pennies (or cents) for some of the expensive activities we'll be doing later in the trip.
We also went to a bank, a drive through bank of course, but we couldn't bring ourselves to drive up to an ...
... is right outside of the everglades. We had intended to spend the night at the Wal-Mart there but the area was a little sketchy looking and I read bad reviews about staying at that particular Wal-Mart. There was no camping nearby but there was a highly rated Hostel that allowed campervans to park in their lot and use their facilities so we drove there. I asked the Park Ranger about the boat tour too, she said it was booked down in the marina. I went and enquired, the last one was in ...
... I left him to get his watch band shortened to fit properly... it is a lovely watch but it's very fandangled with buttons and lots of dials and I think you need a licence to drive it! After dinner we walked up the stairs into Dazzles and caught a couple of songs before the band finished. Rodd and Tim went to bed at a fairly reasonable hour but Heather and I ended up once again sitting drink up on the top deck... a lovely way to end a fantastic cruise.
