Bountiful wildflowers are a high point of being in Texas while they are getting rain. I wish we had been able to stop and take photos of the fields that were totally lavender, pink, yellow or white. In San Antonio the "girls'" menfolk were happy to claim them and the grandson reluctantly gave Gran back her vehicle. With a big bag of trail mix and a large Dr. Pepper for supper, I hit the road for Kingsville where my sweetie husband was also happy to welcome me.
I'll attach a few pictures that didn't quite fit anywhere else but are fun reminders of eight days with some of my most favorite people.
