      ... up on a hill with no drainage issues. Safe, bright and cheery. We unhooked Mr. Toad just as the skies opened up again with a thunderstorm of rain. We set up the satellite to record the Giants game and headed out to a local pizza place to get an easy warm meal. Then settled in to watch the baseball game till wee hours of the morning again as the constant rain beat down on roof, thankful we made the right decision.

      Don Laine Campground was one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in since we left Roseville California. It was in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania just north of Allentown. The campground was situated on the top of a hill and you could see the all the hills below us and they were in full fall color. This was a terrific campground.       ... often in Atlantic Canada and we noticed that no-one (except us) wore raincoats - they just wore their everyday clothes and didn't hurry to avoid getting put of the rain - guess they're used to it.....

      We saw very few signs of poverty, even in big cities. There appears to be more of a middle class in Canada, although there certainly are some wealthy Canadians - we drove by many huge estates on our travels.

      ... in our infinite wisdom, we had assumed that when the GPS said it would be a 3 hour drive we believed it. Of course, we had not factored in the hugeness of our travel vehicle, the crappiness of the PA road network, and our RV driver virginity, which turned the trip into 5+ hours of fun and frolic.

      So, with our error in judgment for the drive time AND our lack of the obligatory prepared peanut butter sandwiches (Mom and Dad you WERE right) we decide ...

      ... stand properly nor put anything up to elevate my position. Due to this, I was forced to look up at my view screen during the whole show, creating a heck of a neck creak.

      Once the show had completed, load out went really smoothly. We (as in the video crew) were done by 1:30am, which is a nice change from previous venues. One more show and I will have a day off in Toronto. I’m looking forward to it.
