... at the Blackhorse Pub and sampled some of their home brew. Wanted to catch the show at the Roxy, but the theater was dark. Clarksville is a great town with large number of breweries, wineries, and distilleries. It is also on the Civil War trail and well worth a stop if you are traveling this way.
We rolled into Tennessee and found yet another beautiful park and landed a space one camping row away from Onion Creek, or across the road. On a map, we are smack dab in the middle of the ole' Volunteer State. A very small picturesque town east of Nashville. The homes dotting the rolling green hills and forest are all stately and red brick. It was a great place to continue what we have been doing - riding bikes, enjoying the fresh air ...
... it too commercialized. It can't compare with the antiques stores on the east coast. We then went to the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville. It was fun, informative and interesting. What an intriguing person he was. If you are in the Nashville area, put in your agenda. I have attached some photos. ... How late I hear you ask? Well we disembarked at 06:37 am and the connecting flight to Nashville, was departing at 07:00 and had actually started boarding before we landed. This meant a very rushed trip across the airport, between terminals. Thank goodness for the Sky Train that they have there, otherwise we wouldn't have made it. We scrambled our way onto the aircraft, strapped in and we were off again.
