... junk in our systems we really wanted a proper meal and so headed to Romanos Macaroni grill for dinner, which we had been to in florida for some good old fashioned Italian.

The next morning we steered clear of the hotel breakfast and instead found a little diner down the road where I tried for the first time, biscuits and gravy. This was actually quite good and tasted like a savoury scone, topped with a pepper sauce. Not your traditional breakfast, but when in ...

    Magnet Conference in summary

A travel blog entry by veritybingham on Oct 10, 2014

So the Magnet conference has been very inspiring, I have learnt a lot about a lot, and being able to network with other nurses just as energetic and excited and as passionate as me has been so valueable. I've loved chatting with them and hearing their stories, I've made some promising connections for later on in my trip that I am definitely going to ensure I follow through. There were 8000+ nurses all in one convention centre. England just doesn't do nursing conferences like ...

Conspiracy or no conspiracy its immensely interesting, the museum was fab, really ...

The cruise was over. While I was quite sad because we really enjoy cruising and we had a really lovely time, I also wanted to get off the ship! Having a sick baby in a small room made me quite claustrophobic and the room felt smaller with every sleepless night. We had one last buffet breakfast - with the 4500 other passengers ready to disembark, and began our journey off the boat. I say 'our journey off the boat' because it wasn't as ...

... arsey. After dinner we all walked over to the Rodeo stadium and handed in us free tickets which Brayden gave us before we got there. Everyone took a seat and I started to feel a bit nervous as I was worried I'd hate watching the bulls incase I thought they were being harmed but I was okay when it started I just supported the bulls instead of the riders haha. I couldn't watch the calf lasso thing that the cowboys did half way through, Brayden had warned us ...
