        ... to civilization, we headed down the scenic trail, the one that was supposed to take us up to the highest point in the park for a scenic view of the lake. Well, the trail certainly took us to the highest point in the park. The top of the mountain, however, did not live up to the scenic view we had been hoping for.         ... went through tunnels in Virginia. Toll roads in West Virginia total $2.40. I struggled to find exact change since I still have pounds and euros in my wallet. We passed a truck fire, a convertible that looked like Laura Holt's car from "Remington Steele", a hot air balloon, and the winner for the most interesting license plate: OMGROBOT.
