    I was a bit worried about going to this hairspray loving city - weirdly it didn't seem at all like in the movie. We had a lovely apartment to stay in found on airbnb - which have come in handy as our local residence to register our new van.     ... seafood stands, some fresh vegetable/fruit stands, but LOTS of prepared food booths -- all kinds of choices. We got some "soul food" that we ate in the sit-down dining area up on the mezzanine. Really good!!
