... by Scholtz Garten for a beer and to watch some more football, and a Texas fan stopped me to ask how everybody was treating us. He was pleased to find out that everybody was being great. As I was walking back to the hotel, I heard "Hey, Iowa State" shouted at me from a tailgate. I was thinking, "OK, here it comes." Then he followed up with, "Do you need a beer?" ... we drive out to his "small" ranch via an ammo shop. Marks ranch wasn't currently lived in..some of the grass was about as tall as me! We had picked up a paper target from the ammo shop and nailed it to a crate then to a tree. The guns were brought out and laid on a towel like precious jewels. From tiny cowboy style to massive shotguns! I had a go at the cowboy gun and like a police handgun (sorry can't remember any of the actual names ha!) which was pretty terrifying at ...
