We reached Hot Springs late afternoon and resided by beautiful lake Hamilton. Hot Springs is a National Park so the drive in was scenic and fortunately the sun was beaming all the way. ... Botanical Gardens. As we had had lunch at the memorial we just took our time and wandered around the gardens before walking back to the van. We then left OKC and head south towards the Texan state line. We hadn't left OKC until 4pm so it was getting late as we neared the state line. As we drove through Ardmore we spotted a Walmart and decided to stop there for the night.
