... to turn the TV off and go to sleep. It was well after midnight when I did finally sleep. In the morning, more of the story came out. The other TV stations were playing catch-up with their morning news casts. Ten was the only channel that had an evening news so theirs was an exclusive coverage. Later in the day, when with the walking girls, it was such a surreal feeling to be out in the bush away from all that.

After an uneventful drive we got to Athens and Donelle's apartment for the year. I spent that evening and the next day taking it easy while she attended to her study commitments. Donelle's apartment is part of a big complex in a quiet new estate on one of the hills that surround the town.
