    Holiday Inn Express is doing it big, this is the 2nd one we have stayed at and very impressed.....awesome service

    ... had a cold drink. Took a cold shower and then tried to sleep - it was very hot.

    We made a stop in Mineola, Texas . . . in what appeared to be a bit of a worn out town. I snapped a picture . . . with three stores on a main street . . . "Vintage Charm," "Taste of Italy," and an old hotel "Beckham Hotel Coffee Shoppe!" They have a certain 'charm,' but I doubt it is everyone's cup of tea (or coffee!).
