Left Austin about 10am with a nice send-off from the family. Drove north up I-35 until Waco, then turned northeast. Stopped at Collins Street Bakery in Waco and got a really delicious sandwich, plus a blueberry angel food cake, and some coffee. ... slightly more than "warm" and I was fighting (mental) exhaustion. Two thirds of the way back my legs started to follow my mind's lead and tried to quit on me. Maybe it wasn't as bad as it felt, but I really didn't want to go on any longer. I just knew that I had to make it back before dark (which was approaching rapidly) and before the park closed and I got towed or something.
