      My Dubai experience has been so far the best. First night was fun. Got to eat pork in Lamesa Asiana Hotel. I think we gained 2 kilos that night. �� . City tour like any other tours was tiring but fun. All est are with them. Tallest these and that. All are absolutely impressive. Saying no to come back will never be an option.

      ... early night as we hadn't got any sleep on the plane the night before! Day 2... Turns out the beach is harder to find than you think! We hopped on the metro then the tram to Dubai marina and took a walk along the promenade which was nice. Then back on the tram to the Palm.       Dubai was our stop over destination en route for home! We arrived at midnight on Thursday obviously just getting a taxi and going straight to the hotel. We stayed in the Movenpick IBN Batutta. It was quite a way out towards Abu Dabi but with the metro station across the road (and a big shopping centre that stayed open until midnight) it was not an issue and it really was a fantastic hotel to stay in.
