    ... is more of a first birthday tradition to have a smash cake but we thought it would be fun - and it was!!

    The next day, we went to Mama's work where there was a grand Elmo party. It was great to see everyone. Addy really enjoyed the salami and honey sesame cashews!     ... you got a souvenir cup and free refills all day. We definitely got our money worth with those.

    Tomorrow we are leaving Texas and continuing on with this adventure. It has been nice to have a couple days free of driving but I’m excited to see what else lies ahead of us.

    At the RV park, we were given a newspaper about this event with a map inside. I took a photo of the map to show how large the event is. There is even a stage at the upper right hand corner of the event with performances every night.     ... linear, so people bottleneck all over the museum waiting for the audio tour to tell you to move. We dumped the audio tour pretty quickly. Beyond the experience of actually being in the Schoolbook Depository, there is not much to recommend the museum to anyone who has a little working knowledge of history.
