The ticks were up with the sun this morning. I left camp at 6:15AM after just cramming everything in a temporary spot in my panniers. ... in family activities. The Broadmoor has a fantastic outdoor heated pool and hot tub right on the lake. They also have two water slides that the kids are very excited to play on.
On top of that we are spending a few days to relax there and enjoy the 4th of July holiday activities at the resort. Everyone is excited to have a few days away from the car.
Even better, our drive today is only 2.5 hours!

We left today. We were hoping to make Limon, Colorado today, but instead we made it about seven miles away from the Colorado state line. The only big event that happened today was that grandpa broke the right backseat window against the corner of the camper.
