The ticks were up with the sun this morning. I left camp at 6:15AM after just cramming everything in a temporary spot in my panniers. After a quick conversation about the massive gas bill we are accumulating on this RV (6-7 mpg) we thought about ways to just ditch it and fly home or rent a car and leave it in the nearest Wal Mart until we came back for it. Many creative ways were brought up on what to do with our stuff too!

Christina was on the phone getting updates on our cat Simon. He seems to be doing better but he's been relocated to Grandma's apartment for the month in order for his joint to heal. Simon also really likes to be around people and it wasn't working too well with him closed up in our room.
We left today. We were hoping to make Limon, Colorado today, but instead we made it about seven miles away from the Colorado state line. The only big event that happened today was that grandpa broke the right backseat window against the corner of the camper.
