Accommodation

Hotel La Siesta, Acuna No. 9, Tel: (01 842) 422-0374. Their current rates were 300 + 400 peso for 1 or 2 persons. The small, en-suite rooms come with cable TV but are a little overpriced for what's on offer.
Parras De La Fuente, Coahuila, Mexico amazingjourneysToday is Thanksgiving and I have many things to be thankful for!! I am not celebrating in the traditional way this year since i am in Mexico, but everyone is in my thoughts and prayers. I am missing a few things spacifically: *Special time and game playing with wonderful family. *Sweet potatoes at grandma & grandpa Sheltons. *Green beans at grandma & grandpa Schroers. *Being the Ice cube girl. But as i said i do have many things to be thankful for ...

I got to sleep today around 5:30 and woke up at 9:30 to head to the britanina ...
Puebla, Mexico kimbutterfly15Today i took my shower at home before I knew we were going to the Britanin, but i went along and hung out there. Lili helped me order a friut salad and fresh squeezed orange juice. The fruit salad was very good and big. It was not your traditional friut salad with yougurt and/or everyones juice touching each other, but rather a variety of fresh fruit on the same plate...which was even more exciting than i imagined. It had apples, watermelon, banannas, cantalope ...

I told her it was totally okay, i knew that comming and was excited just to see the animals. From this point on i felt very comfortable because i knew she spoke very clear english and could understand me and would be able to tell me when to be back at he bus very easily, she also seemed to have very genuine ...
Puebla, Mexico kimbutterfly15... if i did something rather than sitting at home, but did not think i would find anything considering the concerns above and being a female alone also. However i was wrong, prior to comming as i was looking through my book i post-it noted the Africam Safari, because at that time it sounded very interesting, but after gettinh her and seeing other things i realized if the opportunity posed itself it would be cool, i like animals but if not i could see an african safari when i ...
Puebla, Mexico kimbutterfly15This morning we used the moped to get into town, I even surprised myself because it was quite easy and I expected to be a bit worried. Anyway after a visit to the post office we made our way to the Governors Palace. This is more known to us as the State Council offices. This building built at the end of the 19th century is quite an impressive building, but inside on the first floor there is a huge mural which shows the history ...
Saltillo, Mexico mikeandmary... not to change in the bathroom. So I got to see a priest in his tighty whities. Not many men can say that. Young boys...yes. Men, not as much. I know, I know. Clergy molestation humor. Not cool. But I kid, because I care. In case there's any misunderstanding, we're talking about 2 double beds here. So I managed to finally slip into an uneasy sleep. But you can be damn sure that I woke up ready to defend myself all 8 times he went to the bathroom that night.
Saltillo, Mexico dane... we had enough time to complete the assignment, so I had some time to visit a small but nice desert museum and check out the city center. Saltillo is a relatively compact city, it turned out to be more of a US style than I had earlier expected. It seemed to be well industrialized and has a picturesque yet small center. There was also ...
