... Cathedrals is often the life work of a few generations within families.No doubt the construction of such would have been pivotal for much community, religious and political power struggles.

So what of Cologne? I haven't researched this in depth but I would imagine that the French feel to the place stems way back to the roots of the Frankish Empire. Happy to be corrected on that...did I mention how good Steve Smith is going? Fair dinkum he will do ...

... between me and him weren't prepared either...I think I broke them.  After a wonderful reunion hug, we made our way to the car, and this is where you can clearly tell I'm not European.  I went straight for the left side of the car.  But no, unless I was going to drive, I needed to move.  The terribly funny antics of Kai and Lisa had already started and they didn't stop.  We drove to the very top of the multistory carpark to get out. Long cotton pants in summer-time – multi-coloured or dark hides stains. Girls can wear stockings underneath if it’s a bit chilly. They are comfy and cool in the heat but also protect your legs from a bit of wind chill. Only need one pair.
