... back in Cologne. It is nice to be feel normal, have energy, not want to take a nap every 30, we slept in a little and then headed to town for breakfast. We asked for an American breakfast (snobs?) and she sent us to a hotel about a block away. Before dinner we had a farewell Captains Cocktail Party on board followed by a Farewell Captain's Dinner (a 5 star 5 course dinner to die for). The highlight was the Cologne cathedral, which is the second tallest church in Germany, is a magnificent structure. Long cotton pants in summer-time – multi-coloured or dark hides stains. Girls can wear stockings underneath if it’s a bit chilly. They are comfy and cool in the heat but also protect your legs from a bit of wind chill. Only need one pair.
