      Took the road less travelled for our first day. Headed west on the I-290 W or Dwight Eisenhower Expressway for a bit before it was the US20 W. When we could we were off onto the IL 72W which was a much smaller road with much less traffic that went through suburbs and small towns.

      Bought supplies for lunch in Addison - spent a whole $2.60 to get bread rolls, ham and a tomato. Back to our lunch of travels past - ...

      In Indiana and then Illinois, the highway tolls start to help pay for roads or maybe to line someone’s pockets. Not sure but $ 1.50 turns into $ 2.25 when you are pulling a car.
