... last time I was here. I kept two hundred dollar bills in my pocket in case I got caught. Great dessert bar. You can land you chopper on the roof and walk to your table, You can also look down and see the Palm Island development, big beyond comprehension. Scores of hotels, hundreds of big houses, all built on a manmade island in the Gulf.

Tomorrow...Return to Africa!

The chicken was basically in a bowl of orange butter type dressing and the bread was pita bread that was really soft and had a lot of butter on it as well. I highly doubt it was very healthy, but boy was it delicious! After eating Chris had some extra time so he wanted to show me the area of Villa's that he sells called the Emirates Hills. The whole complex is built ...

Our tour encompassed the whole of the city including things such as the Dubai Museum which gave us an excellent overview of the old Dubai of fishing fleets and pearl diving. We had an abra (small boaty thing) ride down the Creek to the souks ...

Dubai, United Arab Emirates tecki... but it is safe to say that i was mightily ****** off. On leaving that room i was taken to a table where several customs officals went through my main bag with a fine toothcomb. I realised that i had some pirate DVD's in my bag that were wrapped up in a black big bag. When they found this bag it did look very dodgy and they got very excited and were dissapointed to see it was only DVD's. In the ned they let me go but it ...

Dubai, United Arab Emirates ranirooThought you all might appreciate an update on all the little random photos I take around town. I started a new page even, because the other one was getting so full. I found this in Muscat. I don't think it was the result of Cyclone Gonu, but I really don't know why it doesn't go all the way down to the ground. From Jumeira Beach Park--the famous horses ...
