      ... your tongue, it began to melt into nothingness. There was no chewing required. It had an excellent taste that was neither too smokey or too sweet. The ribs were more on the sweeter side. Part of this was due to the sauce which was sweeter than other BBQ sauces I’ve tired, but it also seemed as though they had been rubbed in a sweeter type rub possibly with a good bit of brown sugar in it.       ... complemented well by the sweet tanginess of the barbecue sauce. The spicy slaw was vinegar-based with just a little kick. Paired very well with the ribs and brisket to give it just a little extra spice at the end. Even the Texas toast had a taste that was unique. They also had a hot barbecue sauce that lacked the sweetness of the regular sauce but instead had a spicy tanginess.

      ... hotel to our concierge level lounge (we'd been upgraded) for free drinks and nibbles. Later in the evening after a relax in the room we went back into the lounge for free after dinner drinks and desserts. I was amazed that they just give you bottles of spirits to pour your own drinks!!! We watched some fireworks from the rooftop function room, then off to bed ready for our 4th of July ...
